Things to Do

Arches National Park
Arches National Park is just 10 minutes from Moab, and is home to more than 2,000 sandstone arches and some of the most unique rock formations on earth. It’s also a Dark Sky park so get ready to see more stars than you could imagine!
Arches is so popular it they use a “Timed Entry” system. You simply sign up online for a time window to enter the park, arrive in your scheduled window, and show them a QR code at the gate. You will need a parks pass to enter, or you can buy one at the gate. We highly reccommend the annual parks pass for $80, which gets you and your passengers into all national parks for a full year, and there’s several parks within short drives of Moab worth seeing, or you can get a single park day pass for your vehicle for $30.The park is very accessible, virtually everything you can drive right up to and park within sight, or take a short walk to get a closer look. There are some nice day hikes like Delicate Arch worth checking out if you want to stretch your legs more!

Canyonlands National Park
Canyonlands National Park is a 30 minute drive from Moab, and is absolutely massive with some incredible views peering deep into the layered canyons. The park has 4 main districts, some not accessible by road.
For the off-road inclined, there is a very fun drive down through the canyon, 4 wheel drive and a high clearance vehicle are highly recommended. For the most intense off-roaders, there is a 100 mile long route through much of the park that’s the only way to see much of it, and there are primitive campsites along the way to park at and enjoy the stars.

Downtown Moab
Moab will be our home-base for the wedding and has a lovely little downtown area with plenty of shops, restaurants, and lodging. Stay anywhere downtown and everything is very walkable
Be sure to check out the Moab Food Truck Park for a wide variety of tasty treats, or sample some sweet treats from the local bakeries, grab some coffee and gelato from the Moab Coffee Roasters, check out some local artwork, or book a tour from one of the many operators. Moab is a great little town to call home base!
